What are the common types of trolleys?

Two-wheeled trolleys (airport luggage trolleys) can basically be divided into two categories: Oriental type and Xili type. The eastern structural frame has an arc-shaped or flat horizontal plate with wheels on the outside, which is very useful for carrying mixed goods, such as barrels, bags, boxes or other goods. The western structural frame is parallel with wheels on the inside and the handle is arc-shaped, which can be used for truck handling and railway stations. According to the use and load, there are different sizes and designs, which can be made of wood or metal. 二轮手推车(机场行李手推车)基本上可分为东方型与西力型两类。东方型结构架具有弧状或平的横板，轮子在外侧，用来搬运混装的货物非常有用，如桶、袋子、箱子或其他货物，西方型结构架平行，轮子在内侧，手把呈弧状，可配合货车搬运及用于火车站。
按用途及负荷不同，有不同尺寸及设计方式，可为木制或金属制。按脚轮布置及用途方向的差异来区分有下列几种常用形式。按脚轮的使用方式分有平置式及平衡式两大类型，常用有下列3种;
(1)脚轮平置式(见图)：一端为两固定脚轮，另一端为两活动旋转脚轮或附有煞车的活动旋转脚轮。台车高度较低，适用于轻度及中度负荷。
(2)脚轮平衡式(见图)：四轮均为旋转脚轮，灵活度很高，适用于轻度负荷。
(3)六脚轮平衡式(见图)：两固定脚轮在中间，两端各有两旋转脚轮，适用于一般中重负荷的需求。
按用途分，有以下4类：
(1)立体多层式(见图);为增加物品盛放的空间及存取方便性，把传统单板台面改成多层式台面，这种手推车常利用于拣货使用。
(2)折叠式(见图)：为方便携带，手椎车的推杆常设计成可折叠方式，这种推车因使用方便，收藏容易，故普及率高。
(3)升降式(见图)：搬运体积较小，重量较重的金属制品或人工移运移动吃力的搬运场合中，由于场地的限制而无法使用堆高机时，便可采用可升降式手推车。这种推车除了装有升降台面来供承载物升降外，其轮子多采用耐压且附有煞车定位的车轮以供准确定位。
(4)附梯式：在物流中心手推车的使用场合大多以拣货作业中使用最广，而拣货作业常因货架高度的限制而得爬高取物，故有些手推车旁附有梯子以方便取物。
手推车制造厂家众多，规格不一。配送中心常用的手推车形式与规格尺寸如图所示，详细尺寸可从于推车制造商处取得。
